Red Flags: Am I missing them?
When your partner is screening your e-mails, call history or phone bills to monitor your whereabouts or who you’re talking to, that’s a red flag. When your partner questions your behavior, you may feel guilty and think “well, I really shouldn’t be talking to that person if it makes them jealous.” But you have a right to your privacy, and it’s a red flag when your partner is invading it by monitoring your communications as a way to control and challenge who you are, what you do and who you talk to. Set boundaries with your partner about what information is private.
